Baseball season has arrived.....

Finally I have a spare moment to sit down and write this blog.. It has been soooo busy what with Morgan & Owen's talent show where they both got to perform, Owen played "London Bridge" on the piano and Morgan sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" acapella on her own... and did a magnificent job.  Of course as usual, I forgot to video it, but I am buying the DVD of the show and will try and post it if  I can figure out a way to upload it from the DVD.  Then of course the art show is this week that I have been very involved in helping with the set up as well as docent (ing) some of the classes around the art show.  I am so stiff and sore from the experience though.   Tonight is the art show with  part one of the school concert that Morgan will be performing in and tomorrow is the art show with part two of the school concert that Owen will be performing in.  Darren's birthday is tomorrow, but he is flying off to Shreveport Louisiana via LA and won't be back until next Wednesday and then he'll leave again for 3 1/2 months at the end of May.  Thank goodness I have found a housesitter to stay and live in the house with Milo so the house WON'T be empty for all you would be burglars out there.  At lease the school is recording the concerts so I can show Darren when he gets back.

Anyway the real reason for the posting is that finally Owen has been able to play baseball this year as the weather (hallelujah) is now dry (albeit cold)  so after the first game was rained out, they got to play two games back to back Monday & yesterday.   Unfortunately they didn't win but Owen did manage to stop one of the other team in their tracks and prevented them from getting a run.  Yeah for Owen...
