Darren the maniac

Okay it is official.. Darren is certifiable!  Seriously!  Since he's been off work (oh about 3 weeks
now) he has redecorated the dining room, his office, ripped out the left over concrete walls of what looked suspiciously like a grave shaped septic or oil tank.  (Our neighbor and I jokingly asked Darren if perhaps  he had found a body in there - and then my neighbor went on to add if either one of us went missing that would be the first place they would look.  I'm happy to say we're still both very much around.)  After that he removed all the left over turf, hauled away over 6000 lbs of dirt and rubble, arranged to have the 10 yes count them 10 Italian Cypress trees removed, then leveled the ground, put in a sprinkler system, built two, Yes TWO, planter boxes, laid down over 1000 sq feet of new turf and is currently as I speak getting ready to finish off the pathways with pea gravel.  (For my part - which really in the grand scheme of things wasn't all that much - I hauled and distributed all of the wood chip which had been delivered at the same time as the top soil & pea gravel.  This then in turn motivated me to weed the front yard where the daffodils had sprouted as well as plant some new spring flowers)... And still he is busy doing... So again.. I say the man is a maniac and puts us all to shame..
