Another day... another raindrop!

Okay it's official the weather in Portland sucks!... but hey at least we have water, I was reading online today how the South-east of this country is in a serious drought that they might run out of water soon so I guess I can be thankful for small mercies or in their case a huge one.

I'm sitting here listening to Owen play piano with his new piano teacher and I think Owen likes him, so we'll see how this goes. He's young with a new baby and he only gets 30 mins a week but they maybe the best for Owen.

Morgan is still at a school doing cool school - Mad Science, I hope she's having a good time and then we need to pick her up in a few minutes so I can then get Owen over to soccer. Phew! Tired just talking about it.

Any way here is a picture of Morgan and believe it or not this is a manmade rain picture as even though I had a photo assignment to do about water, there wasn't any rain last week during the time I needed to complete the project.
Enjoy.

your pictures are very good, did you tell me what your camera is? i do like the colors on this one. does owen play a real piano or a keyboard? i don't even know whether kids play real pianos any more... it is a great instrument, though, good for whatever music one may want to take up later on, even the listening kind. enjoy the rain, born (almost) and raised in southeast england as you were, it should make you feel right nostalgic, eh?

Owen plays the real deal.... no keyboards in this family.. and as to making me feel nostalgic for Southeast England my only comment is this.. there was a reason I left it in the first place... finally as to my camera, a professional photographer once commented to me that it isn't the camera that takes the picture it's the photographer so it matters not which camera you use...(having read that back it sounds a little arrogant that was not my intent.. but you get my drift I hope.)

sure i get it, just curious about the camera because last year for fede's 40th i did a whole lot of google research, but of course it isnt important... real pianos are it!! i'm off today and hope to catch a picture or two i will enjoy and hence share... rain is ok (i lived in northern california for several years, and didn't particularly enjoy all those months without a drop of same) and too much of it is also too much... anyway, more from the other side of the puddle (also known as the atlantic)

Rain isn't that bad, I know you will think it monotomous, but think without it you wouldn't have all that greenery around you, and oh joy oh bliss when it stops! and stop it will, it does here in the UK. At the moment we are having a wonderful autumn weather but this only arrived on the 17th, before that rain and grey skies;most depressing. Loved the pix of Morgan! Hopalong
